Mask Mandate Update

Dear Members,

As you’ve likely seen this week, the Ontario Government has announced that masking requirements are no longer mandatory as of March 21, 2022

The Board and Management of the Club continue to accommodate for a rapidly evolving situation as public health restrictions ease.  With input from our Management Team and Staff, the Board has directed the Club Management to act consistent with public policy and  remove mask requirements for Members, guests, and some staff as of March 24th, with the first operating day being tomorrow, Friday March 25.

Staff working indoors will continue to wear masks and have other PPE at their disposal, particularly in and around food service and where high interpersonal traffic and/or contact is unavoidable.

We would take a moment to reiterate the public health guidelines, and remind Members that public health has stated:  “Regardless of where you are, you are encouraged to wear a tight-fitting, well constructed mask if you feel it is the right choice for you.”

Caledon supports personal choice for Members and guests, and we would ask all stakeholders to take care and show respect for the choices of others in our community.  While distancing, capacity limits, and masking are no longer being enforced at the ski club, you are encouraged to be mindful and considerate of others as we go through a period of adjustment.

Please also remember that you are still required to review your attestation prior to arrival at the Club.  Club staff will continue to provide active onsite screening for the remainder of the season.
