Don’t forget this Saturday is Irish Gluhwein.
What you need to do before Saturday: Put your green outfit together, create and sign up for the Dummy Downhill, and join your team of 4 for the Caledon Cup challenge!
On Saturday – visit all the lifts around the Club and vote for your favorite by going to the ticket office in either the Main or West lodge BEFORE 2 PM and tell them who gets your vote.
If you registered for the Caledon Cup – meet at the lower patio of the West Lodge at 10:30 am for instructions.
Deliver your dummy to the snow in front of the West Deck for 12:30 for inspection and judging.
Weather permitting, the West Deck will be open for lunch – the BBQ will be hot, and so will the Gluhwein!
Complete Snowy’s Quest and determine the secret word (10 letters) and visit the West Lodge Ticket Office for your treat.
When the lifts close at 4pm, meet at the bottom of Stapell's Chair and watch your OPS crew complete in the shovel race on Steep Side – don’t worry, we will restart the West Hill lift ONLY to get you back up to the West Lodge at the completion of the race.
Finally at the T-Bar, enjoy live music performances by Stan Chang and Charlie Coolie, and an Après menu that includes Irish delights like Sheppard’s Pie, Steak and Kidney Pie, and the always popular Caledon Platter. Wash it all down with an O’Hara’s Irish Stout beer on tap. We will be awarding best costume prizes, so come strut your stuff, and find out what Lift wins! .
It will be a fun day to celebrate the 2023/24 season!
